Dr. Cooper is the best migraine neurologist I've ever had, and I've had common migraines since the 3rd grade. He listens, explains any proposed treatment thoroughly, and if something doesn't work or stops working, he's quick to think of other options to try, and we discuss any proposed options and select the best one together. He's been the best neurologist for migraines because he doesn't stop until he finds a solution, and then he includes me and makes me feel heard. He addresses any concerns I may have without brushing them off or being dismissive. If I get stuck in a long-term migraine that seems like nothing will make it go away, he's able to get it resolved; but that's rarely happened since I began treating with Dr. Cooper.

Dr. Cooper is kind, knowledgeable and someone who truly listens to his patients. It is rare that people leave a doctors appointment in a good mood or feeling positive especially when you have an illness like chronic migraines. However, Dr. Cooper always makes you feel like there is hope and is always looking for ways to continue to make you have more and more positive non migraine days. I'm grateful to have him as a doctor and would recommend him with my highest praise.

Dr. Cooper is an absolutely fabulous CARE provider. He really seems to care about me as a patient and the mutual respect present in each of our interactions leaves me feeling more empowered when I walk back out the door, even if my condition is far from resolved. His approach to care truly makes things seem more manageable and more importantly--less stressful. He's the one doctor I actually look forward to seeing.

Dr. Cooper was kind, open to hearing my thoughts and didn't dismiss them like too many providers have done in the past. He explained his reasoning for his proposed care plan and also took my suggestions and concerns into consideration. He also gave me suggestions to take to my other providers that could possibly improve my whole well-being instead of being focused only on his area of specialty.
