Really impersonal and uninformative experience with Dr. Fujimoto. During the consultation he had a transcriber on a call yet he took notes and barely looked away from his screen the whole time. First question he asked was what kind of insurance my husband and I had. His eyes lit up when he heard where my husband worked and that he had good insurance. Very shallow line of questioning, didn't ask follow up questions or really try to understand the situation we were in. Cut me off and didn't seem to care about additional details I was talking about. During the exam he didn't explain what he was looking for, what outcome was good/bad and left me feeling anxious the whole time. The procedure was painful and he didn't seem to care. He put the scare tactics on and told me that we wouldn't have a high chance of conceiving naturally and that we should just be as aggressive as possible with treatment. He said this without even seeing results for my husband. When I got home I looked into the results and averages by age and I was not on the "low-end" as he said, I was within the average range. Felt completely deceived. Terrible bedside manner and clearly just trying to sell as much IVF as possible without even talking about all possible options.
