Biography

Dr Utku Kandemir is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in care for traumatic injuries. His areas of expertise include reconstruction after complex trauma. He treats fractures of the pelvis, hip, shoulder, elbow, arm, knee, ankle and leg; he also treats deformities and infections that develop after injury. Kandemir's research focuses on fractures and joint biomechanics. A native of Turkey, Kandemir completed his medical degree as well as residencies in internal medicine and orthopedic surgery at the Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara.
