I do not recommend this Mental Health Counselor. She did my intake while driving and rushed through it. I have been in therapy or 30 years and never experienced such a short and rushed intake. She did not ask me any questions about my childhood, and the intake is supposed to collect a complete history.  I let it slide because I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and trusted that things would get better. I hoped that she would make up for it later. She either does sessions while driving or in the parking lot of the Convalescent Center that her Mother is in, which makes me feel that I am keeping her from her Mother and that she is only talking with me for the paycheck and does not really want to help me. I try to open up about what is bothering me, and she is distracted (with what is going on in the parking lot) and makes me feel like I am trauma dumping on her. There is no continuity in the sessions because she either does not take notes or does not review them. In my opinion and based on my experience, it is very unprofessional to use a car as a counseling office. She failed to provide me the compassionate care that I need and deserve. I filed a grievance with my insurance provider as well as a complaint with the state licensing board. I would not recommend Tony to anyone who wants more than a quick vent session. She seems very burned out and like she is only going through the motions for a paycheck.
