Dr. Tom Thomas is OUTSTANDING!!!! He was recommended by another doctor who told us we would not regret going to him and boy, was he ever right. A very dear family friend, in his early 80's, unfortunately had to have surgery to remove a 5.2 cm mass on the side of his face that was confirmed squamous cell carcinoma (this was left untreated by a prior doctor that said he got all of the cancer and did not). Dr. Thomas took such good care of our friend. He is a straight shooter, no BS and tells it like it is from the start and his beside manner is wonderful!!! He takes time, does not rush and cares for his patients! The patient in this case, at the end of today's visit, said, doc, I don't know if this is going to sound weird to you, but I love you!!! That speaks volumes! I would recommend Dr. Thomas to anyone that I know if ever there was a need. Dr. Thomas is an all-around great doctor!! We are lucky to have him and I for one am very thankful for him.

Dr. Thomas is a rockstar!  Had a tumor on the parotid.  Dr. Thomas talked me through the diagnosis, procedure, and I just had a great post-op appointment.  Bottom line: Dr. Thomas made the entire process smooth and easy - I would strongly recommend him if you want the best.

We were referred to Dr. Thomas by another ENT surgeon, who wanted the surgery to be performed by someone with more expertise. My 76 year old father in law had a large tumor (9cm) pushing against his windpipe. The local surgeon was worried about the size and location of the mass and the patient’s age. Dr. Thomas adjusted his clinic and OR schedule to see my father in law promptly then take him to surgery. My father in law’s large thyroid cancer was pushing on his trachea and you could see his Adams apple as a second lump on the other side of his neck. He had total thyroidectomy and neck dissection. He was able to eat couple of hours after surgery, (he was eager and ready to eat right in the recovery room!). Surprisingly, he did not take a single pain killer post discharge. There is barely a visible scar. His voice is perfectly normal despite the fact that the tumor was pushing on his recurrent laryngeal nerves. This speaks volumes about the exceptionally precise skillset and expertise Dr. Thomas possesses! My father in law was diagnosed with an aggressive form of thyroid cancer, (poorly differentiated carcinoma arising in the background of follicular variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma), Dr. Thomas went above and beyond to get the follow up treatments expedited. We never felt rushed at appointments, and he explained everything about the condition to us in an easy to understand manner. All of us in our family are eternally grateful to Dr. Thomas for having put us all at ease and made this experience smooth right from consult all the way to post surgery. Dr. Thomas is a doctor that talks to you and LISTENS. He is straightforward. He doesn’t over sell himself, his skills or the surgery. But, be ready to wait for him, his clinic runs late since he doesn’t rush anyone out. We highly recommend him!
