My mom went to the ER with diverticulitis, she was in torturous pain for 12 hours screaming. Dr Toby Reidy was supposed to perform surgery but she was double-booked and did not finish on time so my mom's intestines exploded, twice. It doesn’t say this in the records she reported that my mom was immediately taken to surgery after signing consent, which is false. 
She told my mom her first surgery went over. My dad ran into the hallway for help crying, and it was a ghost town, my mom was left there to die. Dr Reidy had to open her up again because mom got sepsis. She had to have her bowels reconstructed, it wasn’t done correctly. The nurse kept sticking her over and over again, she couldn’t get the IV. Mom caught an infection in the hospital, had to have a tent around her and everyone had to be dressed in PPE, head-to-toe. Board of Health had to intervene. She had to spend 20 days in the hospital and 30 in a nursing home with a colostomy. We have had nightmares bc of this, this has affected our trust in the medical community. Is this how you treat seniors? Why did you not call backup, knowing the condition that my mom was in?
