The first time Dr. Madsen fixed my left knee was for a torn meniscus about seven years earlier. This time I tore it a little more, but also damaged the cartilage. He injected stem cells into the damaged area and told me it would be a full six months before I felt any difference. Unlike the first time, my knee hurt quite a bit after this procedure. However, about six months later it indeed stopped hurting. I get an occasional pain from this knee, but have been extremely pleased with the outcome - especially given the pain I was in after injuring it! The office staff is friendly, and there were no surprise bills from either procedure. I will be using him again for any similar injuries!
