Dr. Tammy Kaye Schrodt, MD

Tammy K. Schrodt, M.D., is a pediatrician with Norton Children's Medical Group. She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield. Dr. Schrodt is board certified in pediatrics. She adores helping children and families, and will listen to parents' concerns about their child and provide compassionate care. Her past experience includes pediatric emergency and urgent care. She has served on the ethics committee and the pharmacy and therapeutics committee at Norton Children's Hospital. Dr. Schrodt is originally from Pikeville, Kentucky, and is a devout Catholic. She grew up in a close family and continues to be dedicated to her family and enjoys spending time with them. In her leisure time, she loves reading all of John Grisham's books and can't get enough of the ocean, even getting married on the beach. Dr. Schrodt enjoys arts and crafts and has volunteered to bake cakes for family, friends and an organization, Cake4Kids. She loves roller coasters and amusement parks and sharing that experience with her family.
