Dr. Stalzer is a horrible psychiatrist. She is the rudest and most unprofessional doctor that I have been ever seen. I came here for an evaluation and while filing out the paper work in the beginning, she made several rude comments, "I don't trust 18 year olds to make their payments", "You're 18 years old, you don't have any money." and she crossed out my signature on the financial info page and gave it back to me and told me I needed my parents signature. She claims she gives psychotherapy during her sessions which is bs. I have been through several counselors and her "psychotherapy" sucks. She asked lots of questions and I would be lucky to get her opinion. I felt I had to defend myself at points during our session. She asked what my parents occupations were and her response to my mothers occupation was "Why does she have such a low job?". I brought my anxiety medication in hoping she would refill it and never refilled it. She never prescribed anything. She demanded to see a print out of the list of prescriptions I have filled at my pharmacy before prescribing me medication. At the end of the session before re-scheduling, I informed her that I wouldn't have enough medication until our next appointment. I was prescribed a 30 day supply on May 16 and her next appointment was June 18. She asked to take my medication bottle and asked if she could open it. I mistakenly said yes and didn't think she would open the med container and shake out my medication and touch it with her bare hands and inspect it. I am slightly germophobic and have been diagnosed with OCD and left the session feeling more anxious. Felt like throwing away my prescription bottle away. Stay away from this "doctor", especially if you're a young adult. I was discriminated against my age. I left the session feeling more anxious.
