Dr. Supreet K. Chahal, MD

This was my third visit with Dr. Chahal. She did not leave good impressions on me from my last physical or appointment during the year because she was dismissive and abrupt (e.g., argued with me rather than asking questions about my asthma regimen despite having had asthma all my life and it was her first time seeing me; did not offer any short term solution for my severe TMJ and only offered a referral) This was my last chance appointment to see if I will switch providers. This Time she was more sympathetic and seemed less rushed but she is still pretty abrupt. I've had a rough year healthwise with several ER visits, several surgeon follow ups within Cedar, and 10+ follow up doctor visits, which were all recorded in the Cedar system and sent directly to her, and she did not seem to have reviewed or be familiar with my medical history at all. She questioned my well documented medication regimen and seemed to be questioning the legitimacy of my abdominal pain until I was near tears. After that, she was sympathetic and helpful with helping me up on the hospital bed, careful during the examination, and thorough on how to wean off of certain medications, which I appreciated. I just wish I didn't have to have been near tears to receive that.

I was very impressed with Dr. Chahal. She has a very pleasant and calming personality, she spent more time with me than any doctor that I've seen in the past 5+ years, and she worked very hard to diagnose my issue and develop a treatment plan.
