Two years out approaching my full heal from a total knee replacement, I couldn't be more pleased.  I'm enjoying a normal active life with a daily mile walk.    If you choose his team, expect detailed information and preparation including a class and loose-leaf notebook well in advance of the operation.  Everything went smoothly with no complications.  Follow-up in-home nurse visits, and therapy for two weeks, and more physical therapy by your choice of establishment.  Should my other knee require a new joint, I won't hesitate to go back.   May I add Dr. Alatis is a no-nonsense physician.   After 70 years, I'll pick competence over bedside manner.  (Do they actually have a class on that in med school?)
