The only reason I would hesitate to recommend this practice is I feel like we are constantly sent out for referrals. Which is both good and bad. Good that we are getting expert opinions. But bad because it's hard enough as it is to schedule one appointment let alone several specialists which then almost always have been confused as to why the referral was made because whatever the concern was is such a slight deviation it wouldn't have caused them a concern. So we end up spending lots of time and money for only slight deviations of normal.
