Dr Cyran is a particularly excellent communicator, both in person, as well as via MyChart. He asks contrusctive questions, and explains his process in plain-spoken detail. In this most recent visit he excellently managed my pain during the carcinoma removal proceedure, applying the a local anesthetic himself, explaining how the proceedure should feel, then when actively checking in with me, he added the anesthesia I needed to be more comfortable. It's so nice to have such a skilled, responsive, and easy-going care provider helping me through my skin cancer troubles. It's such a relief when the system works so smoothly.

As a dermatologist Dr Cyan is one of the finest medical providers I have to interact with for the last 30 or so years. He is caring and thorough, and causes you to be more reassured of his treatments. He appears to be in high demand since he books appointments several months out, but when I was in need several months ago, he found a way to get me in and he influenced another Doctor to get me treated faster that normal. He occasionally uses terms and abbreviations that are difficult to understand, but has always explained if I interrupt and ask for more information.

I believe Dr Cyran is a highly competent dermatologist. He has been my dermatologist for many years and recognizes my desire for full understanding of any skin related conditions. He listens well to concerns and calming in responses. My recent visit was managed initially via My Chart when I forwarded a photo of an unusual skin spot. Ultimately he advised I come in to have it checked and learned it was positive for squamous cell carcinoma (biopsy results). I am thankful he was able to see me on relatively short notice.

I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM DR. CYRAN HE LISTEN TO ME AND ANSWERS ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. AND I LIKE THE WAY THAT HE GIVES ME ADVICE ON HOW I SHOULD PROCEED FORWARD WITH MY CARE AND TREATMENTS. THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE IS THAT THERE WAS NO WRITTEN INFROMATION TO HAND OUT TO ME CONCERNING MOLES AND BLACK PEOPLE AND THE CARE OF DARKER SKIN, THIS IS SOMETHING THAT SHOULD ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE WHEN VISTING IN A DOCTOR OFFICE SETTING.

Great experience, explained the differential diagnoses as well and was clear about potential cause. Respectful of physical interaction (involved rash that included breast area) and I didn't have to even ask for a second provider to be in the room during the exam, she was automatically there, which made me feel even more comfortable (not that I didn't trust Dr. Cyran to be professional, but it's nice to not have to ask for a "chaperone")

It took less than one day to get fit into the schedule, when I got there, I was taken 10 minutes EARLY!Dr Cyran was (and always is) the most thorough dermatologist I have ever seen. The Med. Assistant seemed newish, but was very good, very pleasant, and seemed good at the job. A biopsy was sent off. Results were back and I had the results back in 2 days. I have an appointment for further removal. Wonderful doctor and office.

I have been seeing Dr.Cyran for years and find him to be highly professional, thorough and informative. Dr.Cyran takes the time to carefully examine me for cancerous skin growths and explain what type of non cancerous growth I have, helping me to understand and not worry. Clearly, he has substantive knowledge about dermatology and applies it when seeing me. His assistant organized, explained the process clearly, and kind.

The reason I have not yet heard from the doctor's office is that My Chart showed just my test results a few days ago. I think I will hear from them soon. This doctor is quite thorough and has told me to contact him directly if I have a concern and cannot get an appt quickly enough. He gives out a lot of information about conditions to take with me and I appreciate that. Excellent at what he does.

I have always felt like I could trust Dr. Cyran's medical judgement and that he would provide appropriate treatment. I was saddened to learn that he will be leaving the practice, as I have always looked forward to my encounters with him. I hope that the dermatologist that I will be assigned to will do as good a job as Dr. Cyran always did.

Dr. Cyran is a very thorough, careful dermatologist whose care recommendations might be described as "conservative." As such, he attempts to reduce risk as much as possible. That is a great attribute. He has a quiet manner and he is an excellent surgeon when conditions warrant it. I would recommend him to anyone seeking dermatology care.
