Terrible Terrible experience at Avanti Sports Medicine & Fitness!! As an in-network provider, they charged $350 to my credit card without filing a claim, without providing an itemized receipt, nor obtaining my authorization. When I questioned the charge, the receptionist (Seth Kolb-Brown) falsely claimed it was due to my insurance policy. However, I called my insurance and confirmed that no claim had even been filed. Charging full 'out-of-pocket' rates upfront is a direct violation of their Participating Provider Agreement. Even after I sent a formal refund request, the staff attempted to justify the charge by inventing a 'deductible' that does not exist on my plan. The medical experience was just as poor. The doctor was rude and dismissive, and the exam room had no privacy, with staff members walking in and out constantly. When I called to discuss the billing error, the doctor hung up on me mid-sentence. Avoid this clinic if you value your privacy, your time, and your bank account!!
