Words cannot describe what Dr. Jacob does for her patients and her staff. As her patient I can blindly trust her decision. Although she is the first endocrinologist I have ever been to I think I have the best one in the area I live. There is no reason for me to go anywhere else. She was the only doctor that diagnosed the cause of my diabetes. Having no history of diabetes in the family, and no other medical conditions or risky life styles, all my earlier doctors who were internists were not understanding as the reason for my diabetes. It was Dr. Jacob who found out that it was drug- a medication I was taking induced. When I stopped that medication and substituted it by the medication she recommended my diabetes was under control but because the damage had already been done I am Insulin dependent although being a Type II. And the best part- she recommended me the best Insulin I had to take without trying different kinds as she knew which one would suit me the best. I would recommend her to anyone having any Endocrine disorders.
