Fantastic explanations and willingness to coordinate with urologist/oncologist! She came prepared to discuss my particular situation- had reviewed my test results, brought photos to explain gallbladder and related issues. Took time to answer all of my questions and concerns, Is contacting my oncologist, & seemed to be extremely knowledgeable and genuinely care. Enough so that I canceled my other appointment to meet another general surgeon that came highly recommended.

Dr Sharon Bachman is a specialty care physician board certified in general surgery with Inova General Surgery. She has a special interest in management of complex abdominal wall and inguinal hernias, surgical education, and the techniques of minimally invasive surgery. She has an active research interest in prosthetic materials used in hernia repair. Dr Bachman became interested in surgical services because of the opportunities to problem-solve utilizing a skill set that is both intellectual and manual. Her goal is to help patients regain their functional lifestyle.
