Dr. A. Samy Youssef, his great team and everyone at UC Health has once again saved my life on 01.21.2022   Dr. Youssef is a professional, knowledgeable and a very caring doctor, neurosurgeon. My family and I truly believe that I was blessed to have Dr. Youssef as my neurosurgeon. Thank you kindly doctor Youssef!!!

Dr.  Youssef made removing a lime-sized meningioma tumor growing into my brain as easy as it could possibly be!  He is an honest, compassionate doctor and continues to follow my recovery closely after the initial surgery.   

He skillfully and completely removed the entire tumor without creating any new problems for me!  I had lost feeling in  much of my right side and that is how the tumor was found. Immediately after the surgery, I had feeling!  It was not normal feeling, but I no longer had to worry about falling!  I am  now starting to regain some normal feeling on my right side!  

On a side note, he only shaved a tiny strip of my hair and used stitches that desolve, so I did not have to face the additional trauma of having staples removed.  I am sure I recovered easier from the stress  of brain surgery not having to look at a shaved head in the mirror every day!   I did not even ask about shaving my head or stitches prior to surgery, I was so afraid of allowing someone to open my skull and mess with my brain it did not even occur to me to ask!  I was pleasantly surprised to look so normal afterwards!  He takes pride in his work down to the details of the stitches!  

His concern for me and my successful outcome will always be appreciated. To say I highly recommend him is an understatement!
