Samina Kathawala, DDS

The dentist was very kind and nice - explained everything and did not rush. The FD is also very proactive with insurance, appointment reminders. The office is clean, new with advance equipment. I am glad I found them. 

Was seen by Dr Samina for my routine cleaning and exam visit. This was my first visit at her hasbrouck heights location. Place is clean brand new and everyone is very friendly. Dr Samina took the time explained everything. She answered all my questions and there was no rush. There was also no wait time. I had a confirmed appointment and I was there early but was seen at the time of my appointment. Very organized staff. The front desk had  all my coverages and explained what will be covered etc. Overall a very positive experience. 

This was my first visit. Dr Samina was in no rush, explained my xrays and discussed all my issues. No other dentist in the past have taken so much time to answers my questions. The staff is also very organized. I had NO billing issues or surprise bills. I was given an estimate before hand and thats all I eventually paid. I am very happy to have found this dental clinic. 

Made an appointment and was seen by a very freindly doctor and staff. They had verfieid my insurance and had kept me infomed all along about any out of pocket cost. 
The place is neat and clean, dr samina was very kind and was not judgemental about my poor oral health. She explained and offered multiple options to address my situation. I am thankful for just a kind dentist. I wish I had found her earlier.  

When I call I was greeted with a friendly office manager. My insurance was verified and they had all my coverage's info ready. Text reminders were very helpful. Dr Samina was calm, patient and explained everything. She was not in rush and gave me a lot of attention. I keep my teeth clean and she gave me a clean bill of health. 
Staff was very organized and welcoming. I went to her HACKENSACK NJ office. I am glad I found a dentist who truly cares and is gentle and honest.
 

Went to their Hackensack NJ clinic. It was very organized. Dentist answered all my questions explained everything. Staff was welcoming, gave me a breakdown about my cost and I overall felt good.
I will go there again. 

I scheduled my appointment a couple of weeks ago for  8/27/21 by phone. After I have received multiple confirmations via email texts and automated calls I get a call from her office at 6 PM on the day before that my appointment is canceled and I was asked to reschedule when they called me literally an hour ago to confirm my appointment.

Worst experience with a Dentist ever.  I was supposed to have a general check in and cleaning in early August and TWICE I was told the dentist had to cancel.  Then, when I went into my appointment I had to wait an hour and a half to finally go in.  When I went in the doctor and assistant did not seem to know what they were doing.  They were not clean, dropping stuff all over and it was quite a mess.  She mentioned that the machines were broken and that I would have to make a second appointment to complete the check up.  Just terrible service and a horrible experience all around.  Would not recommend to anyone.  

Went to see Dr Samina. Was having tooth pain. When I called I was welcomed by a great front desk team. They quickly verified my coverage and got me in. They explained coverage and cost I will incur. Whats covered  etc.

Dr Kathawala looked at my tooth, took time and explain everything. She was not in a rush. She then did my root canal. I had no pain after the procedure. I was surprised by her soft touch and she always made sure that I am comfortable. She is truly a great dentist. 

I would never switch my dentist. Wish other doctors follow this practice... everyone is friendly and welcoming.

I got a root canal done. 

The doctor was very nice and she explained everything before the procedure and I had no pain after the root canal though the doctor has prescribed medication but I didnt felt the need for it.

They did crown on it and I am happy, it worked out very well. I am usually very nervous with dental visits but this was a good exp. Everyone - her staff - was nice. 

There was ample free parking in the back of the building.

Overall I would give them 10 stars if I could. I am happy. 

I have been seeing Dr Samina for the last 7 years in  her jersey city clinic.  She listens, explains and is very gentle.   My teeth are terrible. She did an amazing job with  Veeners and I cannot believe how my smile changed. I never thought I can look this good. 

The clinic is a bit disorganized but she is amazing. She follows up and also shares her personal email so that you can check with her on any follow on questions. FIVE STARS for her. 

Wish all doctors are so nice...

I have been a patient of Dr Samina for almost 3 years now.  

I luckily ended up at her clinic. 

She listens to you and is very friendly.  Her clinical and bedside manners are amazing. She is gentle and very caring. 

I would not trade her for any other dentist. I am thankful to god that I found a trustworthy,  reasonably priced dentist.
