Seen Ali for 8 months , seemed to be more on a personal crusade for glaucoma. Mis -prescribed eye drops that could have caused problems with medicine I was already taking. He told me I need to stop driving do to poor eye sight although he does not have the legal authority to to keep me from driving he can only submit a document to DMV concerning my eye condition and DMV follows through with the possible removal of my drivers license. The office tried to triple billed me for service in July 2019 . The last visit was the deciding point Ali did not know what eye drops I was on and again he wanted to to stop driving and now decided I need laser surgery to reduce the pressure in my eyes. I asked him, so how will I support my house hold if I cannot drive to work he just looked at me and told me to go up to front billing to set up laser surgery. Eight months later he wants to perform surgery ? I go home and receive a call from his office that if I want to keep my to continue to drive there is a special test I can take and I can come back to the office and pay $ 100.00 for this test. NOTE : Nothing said in the office visit about anything concerning this now special test he just wanted me to set up the surgery and leave . At that point I decided to go to somebody else without anymore service from him. After I went to another Dr. and I get a letter from DMV telling me that they received information which I assume was from Dr. Ali on my condition and are requesting the special test.I would not recommend anybody to see Apple Hill Eye Center or Dr. Ali.
