I was referred to Dr. Said by my PCP. My PCP scheduled a ultra sound on my lower vital organs and an endoscopy on my stomach. The endoscope was specifically scheduled with Dr. Said. The first thing that turned me off is this doctor only takes cash or check for his co-pays, he also works out of multiple offices so the office staff has to write out receipts. At my appointment with Dr. Said, he cancelled my endoscope for that day and asked me to fill out registation paperwork and told me he'd have to wait on my ultrasound results to come back before he could proceed any further. I paid $25.00 co-pay for Dr. Said to tell me something his office staff or himself could have properly arranged in the first place. Said told me he'd have my ultrasound results faxed to his office. The following day, I called to follow up two hours after his office opened. His assistant did not have my results- nothing was ever faxed over. When I called the office where my ultrasound was performed, they said I had to sign release forms- also not organized properly and a total inconvenience. After Dr. Said got a hold of my results I could not reach him for 2 1/2 weeks. When I finally reached the doctoer he scheduled two pricedures, I asked his office staff about a procedure that would be more reasonable. The office staff said they would discuss that with Said. The office staff called to confirm my next procedure appointments and what I suggested as the more reasonable option was declined. Clearly, Said is unorganized and all about money NOT THE PATIENT. DO NOT GO THERE.
