Dr. Roxana Roxanne Hicks, MD

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Hicks as our primary care physician (she’s a highly qualified internist) for some time now at Snoqualmie Valley Health’s primary care clinic. As the only non-physician in my family (all of whom practice outside of WA State, otherwise I’d go to them!), as well as a public health professional myself, I’m very particular about my choice of medical providers. Dr. Hicks combines her warm personal approach along with her clinical practice grounded in evidence-based decision making, a relentless emphasis upon preventative health, always keeping currently with peer-reviewed literature and evolving clinical guidelines, and a shockingly fast response rate in MyChart. We are so fortunate to have not only her as our PCP but also in close proximity the very best urgent care clinic (also part of Snoqualmie Valley Health) I’ve ever before visited, where the PAs and NPs are just as highly skilled and are genuinely concerned for their patients’ health and wellness. I’m sure I sound like I work for SVH, but I certainly do not. I’m just nitpicky and have extremely high bars when it comes to selecting my primary care physician as well as my specialist physicians (for consults and occasional preventative diagnostic procedures that Dr. Hicks does not perform as she is an internist).
