Dr. Ronald Block is the best and most outstanding professional physician, I have ever had the privilege of being treated by in my 30 plus years, since graduating ungraded & grad school and being on my own. I have transferred to several states for that next role within my career of clinical operations, yet I’m originally from lower Fairfield County, CT.
Not even in CT. had I ever found such a brilliant , collaborative ( if needed), extremely caring, passionate as to ethical and patient centered care, and will go to bat with any insurance provider who is telling “ the highly educated and skilled “ physician, what is best for one of his patients, when insurance only cares about how to “ cheapen a claim”. Dr Block is only about his patients receiving top notch healthcare. He has a fabulous bedside manner, with a gentleness when needing to offer challenging medical information back to you. He’s not arrogant or pretentious yet human and very authentic.
The staff, Sandy and Kristen are amazing! I really don’t know what I would have done without them, as I currently am battling a serious illness and am meeting with top specialists. Due to lack of vision in one eye, an inability to see accurately at times with experiencing double vision ( I too am in healthcare of substance & emotional pain treatment- and my life has completely changed since mid October 24’ when completely caught off guard by one of my clients, 20 years her age and past military history, violently assaulted me. In 28 years nothing such as this has ever occurred). I can’t even begin to express my gratitude towards Dr. Blocks staff and their compassion, guidance, support and just overall professionalism, as I’ve struggled with severe head concussion, worsening with migraines, fatigue, nausea, horrendous anxiety and panic attacks that have caught me off balance and I haven’t been able to make it to Dr. Blocks office for specific appointments. Their understanding, as I have experience deep guilt when being unable to get to the office when scheduled, as they are an extremely busy office. I never want to show any disrespect, as they have never been anything but kind, caring snd respectful.
This practice is extremely special, to the point that friends have inquired if Dr. Block is a concierge doctor, which he so easily could be as the practices actions exude those behaviors, yet it’s just the beauty of true old fashion healthcare, providing the best services and not allowing the insurance claims individual ( not a doctor) to always dictate what his patient needs.
Thank you to the entire medical team at Dr. Ronald Block MD. The BEST practice I’ve ever had the privilege to receive outstanding medical care from and hold in high esteem.
