When calling the office to establish care as a new patient coming from Pennsylvania I was asked the medication that I take daily. One of them is an SSRI, which is not a controlled substance. I was told that the office does not fill any psychiatric medication’s or pain pills. I am a healthcare professional and instructed the office that it is an SSRI and not a controlled substance that doesn’t require monitoring. I was told the office would have to review my medication list and give me a call back to see if I could be a patient.
