I went in for a ''routine exam'' for which I would not have a co-pay to make. When they had me sign the permission for to examine there was a $35.00 co-pay charge for which I contested and had to remind them of my -0- co-pay status and insisted for the ''routine eye exam''. When they were finished, they still hit me with a co-pay but this time it was $65.00. I paid it under protest, but I should have just refused because I'm there for a ''routine eye exam and eyeglasses with inexpensive frames.
 Then they were going to charge me over $130 above my $300 limit. I told them to keep their d**n eyeglasses and stick them where the sun doesn't shine and that I was never going to come back there, and I left.
  They should be reported for milking senior citizens who have to depend on Social Security, Medicare and insurance supplement
  Although I have checked but couldn't find one there must be other O.D.s in my area (Wellsboro or Mansfield) that are in the Aetna HMO network that you can provide me with their names.
 I do have my Rx copy for my lens, and I am also going to try and locate a in network O.D. to buy my eyeglasses from. If you have money to just throw away and waste then go ahead and let Strohecker's rip you off, not me, I'll never go back there again.
