When I arrived for the required 'pre meeting' for a colonoscopy (note-the pre meeting is not fully covered under 'well care' and absolutely nothing medical was discussed in the pre-meeting, and the doctor I finally went to did NOT require this pre-meeting and was 100% covered by Aetna).  I waited  for almost an hour, to sit with the doctor for less than 2 minutes.  He asked me if I needed a colonoscopy, I said yes, and he said-see my scheduler next door.  That was it.  I stood in the hallway and waited for the scheduler for almost another 15 minutes-probably more.  I told the scheduler that I had a date in mind as I have to schedule my time off work well in advance, he asked me what the date was, I told him.  He then told me they only performed the procedure in Livingston.  I insisted I was told otherwise on the phone and he said he would make accommodations to get me in to Morristown on the date I requested and he would confirm to me via e-mail within a few days because he had to do some checking of schedules or something like that.
 
To make a very long story short, he never did.  Over the course of the next month, I attempted to reach him 3 times with no luck, he did call me back one time and said he still had not confirmed the date, but promised he would and would call me in a few days-and again, he never did.  I never received confirmation of the date and not wanting to take time off work, show up at the facility without the date, or time, being confirmed-I called and told the receptionist I was going elsewhere and requested a refund of the deductible portion of the bill that I paid to them-and never received it.  It was only after my calling the receptionist that the doctor phoned me, at which time I felt there was no point in our speaking, I had no faith in their practice at all.   A disaster.  Go elsewhere.
