Biography

Richard L. Fried, MD is a highly skilled physician specializing in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. With a compassionate and patient-centered approach, Dr. Fried provides expert care to his patients at multiple Northwell Health locations, including Northwell Health Physician Partners Gastroenterology at Huntington, Northwell Health Physician Partners at Northport, and Northwell Health Dolan Family Health Center. Dr. Fried is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in Gastroenterology by the American Board of IM / Gastroenterology. He completed his MD at New York University School of Medicine and his BA/MA at The Johns Hopkins University. During his internship residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center - Harvard Medical School, he gained valuable experience in Internal Medicine. Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Fried pursued a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. As a fellow, he focused on advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to gastroenterological disorders.
