She tried to sell me a root canal I didn't need and then tried to bully me into buying it by exclaiming what an authority she was on dentistry. Consulted two other dentists and they both said I didn't need the work. Her hygienist was also pretty rude I recall.

I really liked Dr Kalasho and all of the staff. They were kind and thoroughly explained everything. Fantastic experience, really. Then I got the estimate for the planned work. I see some red flags immediately, a $50 non-covered charge for "desensitizing medicament" per tooth for fillings. I have a LOT of fillings and have never been charged this before. A surgical extraction with $450 in extra fees tacked on for what I promise you is a simple extraction with no surgery necessary. So I respond to the email and ask a couple questions - immediately they start lying and telling me I misunderstand the billing codes, etc. etc. 
It's an absolute shame because I thought I found a great, woman-led office full of brilliant doctors and assistants and then they hit me with the billing fraud attempts to get an extra $650 (out of pocket mind you) for what should be fully covered services by my insurance. I'm SO disappointed.
