Dr. Rachel Renee Maudal, MD

Originally from Colorado, Rachel Maudal, MD, found her way to Minnesota during her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota-Morris, where she met her husband, a Minnesota native. Their shared dream was to return to Minnesota, a place that offered easy access to the outdoors. After spending some time back in Colorado for medical school, they decided Duluth, MN, was the perfect place to settle with their family. She was particularly drawn to Essentia Health for its strong Elder Care division, allowing her to practice both primary care and post-acute long-term care medicine. Dr Maudal's passion for internal medicine lies in managing complex medical issues while forming meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients.
