Rachel earned her undergraduate nursing degree and her graduate nursing degree at University of Pennsylvania. Before becoming a midwife, Rachel was a labor and delivery nurse at Mercy Hospital on the Southside of Chicago. Rachel loves working with pregnant people throughout their pregnancy and supporting them in labor. Her goal is to keep birth normal, but also help guide parents if any interventions are indicated for their health or their baby’s safety. Rachel believes the foundation of midwifery is to be in partnership with patients. Rachel tries to create a safe and respectful environment for every office visit.
