Dr Farjoodi is nice enough, but I am assured the side effects of my surgery could last up to a year, so I won't know if he is a competent surgeon until then.
I have visited this provider4 times at his office at Long Beach Orthopedic. 2 appointments pre-op, then the operation elsewhere, then 2 appointments post-op (and another one upcoming I am dreading). The staff there are completely incompetent: administrative staff, nurses, x-ray tech, even the PA. I am constantly being mis-informed and treated with disrespect, and the staff returns calls less than 10% of the time; I have left nearly 2 dozen messages with various questions over the course of many weeks. Even messages left a week in advance for a refill of post-surgery pain killers requiring prior auth from insurance are ignored until last minute so I had to choose between severe pain or being out of pocket for my painkillers. The x-ray tech actually yelled at me for not telling her soon enough she was taking the wrong x-ray (she didn't tell me she was taking the x-ray as opposed to checking something on the computer), and after she moved the camera to the right place she neglected to put lead on me. These are just 2 of the many issues I have with the staff at this office.
