Dr Mozayeni was my dr for my second child born in 2014. I was high risk due to age. My pre-natal care was quite routine and nothing too terribly bad, however the day I went into labor, Dr Mozayeni was off of work. I had the in call dr who never checked in on me except to deliver my baby for which she made me wait 20 minutes extra after first checking on me and telling me she would give me two minutes to push or I'd have to wait till she performed another patient's emergency c-section. I'm glad I had a very supportive nurse staff to be with my husband and me. Dr Mozayeni never checked on me in the hospital after I delivered my baby. For my next pregnancy in 2016, I had concerns about my high risk issues related to age. Dr Mozayeni brushed off my concerns and wouldn't answer my questions. I lost my baby after discovering no heartbeat during a routine office visit with the nurse practitioner. I had to schedule a separate appointment the next day to meet Dr Mozayeni where she emphasized an immediate DNC procedure and started giving me statistics about the high probability of miscarriage at my age etc, however scheduling the procedure was the most traumatic experience after already being told that there was no heartbeat. I was told that I'd be scheduled a week later because of Dr Mozayeni's schedule. The lack of concern for patient care appalled me. I had to beg the scheduler and was finally 'fitted' in for a procedure the next day. Dr Mozayeni arrived 30 minutes late to the surgery center, was very impersonal, performed the procedure and was gone when I woke up from anesthesia. She didn't see me for my follow up. Instead I was seen by the NP who I like. In a way I'm glad it wasn't Dr Mozayeni because I would have yelled at her. I will never go back to her. I think she has the worst bedside manner when you really need her. She needs to be a professional and not avoid her patients when they need her the most. I wish I could give her zero stars.
