Dr. Kim seems to be very knowledgeable.  However, she is lacking in warmth (at least with me) and I don't feel that there was much concern for my concern. I wasn't just there for an exam, but for a specific issue, which was addressed positively, however, I felt like I had to draw information out of her with regard to my options.  It just seemed as if she was ready to be done and move on to more important patients.  The Duke Eye Clinic is extremely busy and therefore there are very long wait times.  This isn't her fault but it should compel some acknowledgement and compassion.  Both of which were in short supply.  I feel like I got more help from the tech who took my images than from either her or her fellow/resident.
