The doctor offered two options for treatment. He did not offer the option to do nothing. I was the one to suggest that. He did not object to that option after I asked about it and it ended up being the final decision we made, which was to do nothing and come back in 6 months to monitor my condition. I wish the doctor had been the one to offer the third suggestion rather than me.
