I have been seeing Dr Halim on and off for over a decade (depending on my health insurance).  He always performs thoughtful exams, seems to really care about patients and delivers effective care.  We have frank conversations and he is honest and direct with me, which I appreciate.  The office is small and scheduling is easy.

This guy needs to have his license revoked. He truly is a joke of a "doctor". My mom has been coming to him for about a year and yesterday was her last appt with him. I requested a certain test for my mom since he had already misdiagnosed her before and he lost his marbles. He laughed in my face and to his medical assistant going "you here this" I asked why he thought it was funny, when I was requesting the test bc her symptoms weren't getting better and we simply wanted to be safe then sorry. I shouldn't have said that bc he proceeded to inform me he was in his 50's and didn't need to take that "sh*t" and he stormed out of the room. Minutes later he came back in to let his assistant know (mind I'm standing in the room) that if my mom wanted to keep being treated, I was no longer welcomed and no longer allowed in his office. That's when he turns to me and goes "you're a b**ch" "NEIL HALIM" ladies and gentlemen. All bc I requested a test for my mom. His assistant apologized on his behalf and told us that he was a good doctor but tended to loose his cool. The fact that this is normal to his assistant is concerning. The fact that he acted like that is concerning.
