on 10/7/25 I came in for annual check-up but expressed concerns of an allergic reaction I was having and stated to Dr. I thought I was starting a UTI. I asked to be tested for UTI. Dr. Damoui requested urine and bloodwork for everything else but didn't test for the UTI. She prescribed Epinephrin, which I didn't need. I ended up going to 2 other doctors (GYNs) the last one finally listened to me and requested urine test in the lab which tested positive for UTI on 11/18/25. In between 10/7 and 11/18, I developed BV and the UTI was still present. I was miserable for almost 2 months and had symptoms of pain when urinating, itching, burning and genital swelling. All this suffering could have been prevented if Dr. Damoui would have requested the UTI test I asked her for. She might be a Doctor and knows medicine, but I know my body and she dismissed my symptoms. I looked back at my chart and the nurse didn't even list down my concern about the UTI in my chart. I don't think I'm ever going back to this Doctor.
