I felt that the provider was argumentative about the history I gave regarding my child. He kept asking me why previous doctors did various things and then also continued to question why we made the choices we had made leading up to referral to visit him. In addition, I felt he didn't show concern for my daughter's medical history, instead, he suggested that I did not know what wheezing sounded like and said "obese people breath harder when they exercise". He made this comment in front of an 11 year old girl who has very real and very troublesome asthma. Her symptoms were under control at the time of our visit (we waited 5 months for this visit) and he seemed dismissive of our reasoning for initially making the appointment. I was incredibly upset at having waiting so many months to be treated indifferently and for my daughter's asthma to be dismissed. In addition, as we left my daughter asked "why did the doctor argue with you about everything you told him?" You know what? Good question. Because he questioned, belittled, and argued with every bit of history I gave him. We left without any answers to the cause of her asthma (which was the entire reason for referral) and we left on the same treatment plan the pediatrician put her on. I understand that her treatment plan is working, but we came to rule out other causes for her asthma as it tends to flare intensely at times and there is zero allergy history. I also do not appreciate the suggestion that her weight and size are the reason we hear wheezing when she's had diagnosed asthma for 5 years.

I have no complaints. Everyone that was there and saw me was very helpful and made sure that all my son needs were met. They go beyond to make sure you are taken care of.
