Dr. Isenberg specializes in Healthy Aging, approaching the topic from a wellness perspective. Her knowledge of the science, neuroscience & neuroplasticity, healthy & unhealthy brain function including all the ways that brain function can go awry are spectacularly top-notch. In retrospect, I needed to have brought a list of the inner brain dysfunctionings that I have noticed that NO ONE talks about, as I would have asked more questions had I had such a list generated from my own experiences. Dr. Isenberg is very responsive & might then have been able to offer direction re: where to search the literature regarding some of my concerns.In my initial search for a neurologist who could help as well as my subsequent experience of her care, I can honestly say that few neurologists in the Pacific Northwest approach her acumen or wisdom with regard to this increasingly neeeded topic and research Into healthy, happy, successful and meaningful aging. She is what some people would call "a keeper.

One of Dr. Isenberg's specialties is healthy aging. She brings an incredible wealth of knowledge to the inevitable problems and challenges of "getting old(er)." She has created Innovative programs available in various formats and has an apparent passion for teaching. Group support as well as (of course) individualized tx planning are part of one's work with her. Best of all, she is collaborative in her approach. This physician enters into each patient's world as a "provider," but also as a "partner" who brings best practices that include both raising one's awareness to (what should have been) "the obvious" as well as suggesting new thoughts, ideas, medical suggestions and recommendations. Beyond these things, Dr. Isenberg clearly offers a holistic understanding of what it is to be human and to have crossed that shockingly sudden threshhold into "aging." One could not find better care.

The care rendered by Dr. Eisenberg was exceptional. She maintained visual contact and listened attentively to my concerns. She took extra time to explain the testing that would be needed and to review the treatment options that were possible going forward. She made me feel like she really cared about my wellbeing.As an aside, I must say, it is regrettable that PressGaney refers to members of the healthcare team as 'providers.' It is diminutive because it lumps healthcare professionals into the same category as anyone who provides a service, regardless of training, experience, expertise and degree of professionalism. It would be more respectful if PressGaney referred to physicians providers as 'physicians.'

Dr. Isenberg is a neurologist who offers specialty care for disorders of the brain AND for healthy aging. I could not appreciate her more.For this particular visit, although I tried to alert her, in fact I blindsided her by having to ask (wildly) different questions than planned, as I was in a SNF at the time, following 8 days in hospital. It must have been difficult for her to catch up, but she handled the entire visit gracefully, probably gave more time than she should have, and gave some helpful answers to some tough questions. I am hoping to reschedule with her soon in order to get some answers to the questions I still have ~ for which there was no further time after she had met with me for a full 30".

Dr. Eisenberg, has created an optimal opportunity for me to feel supported as I grow older gracefully. Her informative guests, and video/slide staff presentations have given me a wealth of healthy aging guidance. The work books instruction pamphlets complimented each virtual appointment. Dr. Eisenberg encouraged both written and verbal interaction and responses from each of the attendees. This was my favorite part, because it helped me to be more engaged and overcome my virtual communication shyness. I am extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to be a part of this class.

I can't thank Dr.isenberg and the whole staff enough. My GPS kept steening me in circles. I was 5 minutes away from the biuilding and was sent all around for over an hour. I would Have been 20 minutes early, but arrived 40 minutes late. I finally got there because a receptionist stayed on the phone and talked me in. A nurse was waiting ain the hallway to see us quickly into the office and Dr. Isenberg saw me although by then I was 44 minutes late. Everyone ralllied to get us seen, andi appreciate immensely.

She is not only addressing complicated, multi-variable health matters, she is effectively helping us change habits & behaviors (difficult!) with solid, up to date scientific rationales and understandable explanations (though sometimes a little fast when the info is new), and clear passion for us & her work. I live her positive spirit, her practical creative approaches, and her understanding, but firm insistence we really become healthier! I'm always motivated and invigorated after our sessions!

The Doctor is my neurologist, who I depend on for advice about any of my medical questions or Issues. She's not my primary care provider, as I had to state in the survey because the choices for continuing the survey were not clear to me without me stating she Is my primary. Even my husband (who is *not* easily impressed) was impressed by her general demeanor, her obvious wealth of knowledge in her field of practice and the pertinence of the questions she asked me.
