I cannot even begin to express how much I value and love Dr. Michelle Y. Louis. She is truly one-in-a-million. I was recently hospitalized. She called me twice IN THE HOSPITAL! She contacted my hospitalist to discuss important meds that I needed to take, but couldn't since I was NPO (so they worked together to get it to me I.M. Injection). This outpatient appointment I had with her was probably supposed to be 20 mins. I suspect she spent an hour with me. The same day she was supervising a medical resident. So when hearing the resident come out of another patient's room, she asked me to sit tight, that she would be back after seeing that patient, and she was. She is so bright and knowledgeable. So kind and down-to-earth. So willing to contact my other providers to discuss my case. So good at responding to messages on MyChart. So incredibly secure and humble enough to say, "Let me think about that one and get back with you". She truly, truly cares about her patients as individual persons. In all honesty, I have thought about looking into how one goes about nominating their provider for "Doctor of the Year". I can't begin to say enough about how wonderful she is, and how much God has blessed me by giving me Dr. Louis as my PCP.

Dr. Louis is extraordinary. She listened carefully, worked with me to come up with a plan that made sense to me. She is always receptive and has a great disposition. I don't feel rushed at all. She is knowledgeable and very professional. Before my visit, she actually called me about new information she had learned about in a conference, because she was thinking about me and how it related to my condition. That is so unique! She made me feel valued and her concern was so genuine. I treasure my relationship with Dr. Louis and trust her wholeheartedly.
