Dr. Michelle Kay McKenna, APRN, CNM, DNP, ARNP

Michelle McKenna honorably served in the United States Navy for 28 years as a hospital corpsman and then a navy nurse corps officer. Her global nursing career began in 2005 when she was deployed to the Persian Gulf and later Kuwait as a staff labor and delivery nurse in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her other experiences include five years as a department head of the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department and staff certified nurse-midwife at in the Navy Medical Readiness & Training Command in Yokosuka, Japan, and Jacksonville, Fla. Michelle earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in nurse midwifery while attending the University of Washington School of Nursing in Seattle. She became certified as a nurse-midwife in 2018.
