I made a profile here just to warn people of this doctor. I went in to the hospital tonight unsure if I was in labor. The nurse checked my cervix at a 2. No progress after and dr. Chambers came in to check before I left. I've had my cervix checked several times, my Midwife has checked recently too. It's not a comfortable experience ever but nothing compares to the way dr. Chambers mercilessly shoved her hand up there and started routing around extremely roughly as I screamed and cried in agonizing pain. I tried to think of a time I've been in more pain and I couldn't recall. I've also never felt so violated. Despite my screams she continued as though nothing was wrong or out of the ordinary. I didn't even know how to look at her after I felt so uncomfortable. After tonight's experience I have decided to go to a different hospital to deliver in fear I might have to deal with this doctors complete lack of humanity again.
