Dr. Matthew Tick, D.O.

This hospital is an absolute joke. I saw my primary care doctor and she gave me a referral to see a surgeon, so I called advent health because it’s close to my house, I told them I have a referral to see a surgeon, they made my appointment to see Dr Tick, I even looked him up and saw on their webpage that he performs the surgeries I require. I went to the appointment and he told me I will have to see a surgeon…. Imagine my surprise, thinking I was seeing a surgeon… he said he’s not a surgeon, I explained that I requested to see a surgeon and I also showed him the webpage where it says he’s a surgeon… I told them I now lost a days wages and they wasted my time, they apologized and said I won’t be charged, but still they charged me $500, and I still need to see a surgeon and will have to pay again… Stay far away from this hospital, you might go in for a hemorrhoidectomy and come out with a vascectomy, the people who work there doesn’t even know which Drs are surgeons and who’s not. I called the billing department and they said they can’t help me I need to talk to the Drs office, and the Drs office said they can’t help me I need to talk to billing department… what a mess.
