Dr Matthew Torres is a Texas native and spent his childhood in Houston, TX. He spent his formative years in the Boy Scouts, earning the rank of Eagle. He then completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and pursued a minor in Art History from Baylor University in 2010. From there he went on to UT Southwestern for medical school where he met a group of oral maxillofacial surgery residents. It was at this point he decided to alter his career path and pursue OMFS training. He completed medical school and a year of general surgery residency.
