My elderly father resides in the U.P. of Michigan and was in need of a pulmonologist. A recent chest exam revealed a spot on one of his lungs, and he also has moderate COPD. I was reticent to begin searching for a reputable specialist in such a rural area. Needless to say, Dr. Karulf exceeded our expectations. He was approachable, knowledgeable, extremely thorough, and was able to answer difficult questions. Based on this, we were able to come up with a game plan for further testing that we were all comfortable with. If you are in need of a pulmonologist in the U.P. area, I would highly recommend Dr. Karulf!
