This was not regular check up; I came in for a checkup on my shoulder and the procedure bided was called to administer an injection. The injection has been done 3 times, in 3 different areas of my shoulder and has not solved my pain. However ever time the pain location seems to be narrowing leading to a more precise answer to the issue. I do not hold this person responsible as they did not cause the pain and they do not contribute to it. His job is treating it and he has been treating it the best he can. All interactions with this person has been positive and he is very informative; gets to the point and gets the job done effectively.

Matt understands his patients. He understands the necessity to hear the history before proffering any solution. He collaborates with the patient for best outcomes for the patient. I have been under his care for over eight years and I trust him. I trust his knowledge. I trust that he knows what is best for me and where we need me to be down the road. I am a tough case and yet he works diligently each time for what is best for me. Not all patients present equally nor will they....therefore, He understands the need to take the proper history with each history to ensure proper outcomes.

Matt Axtman - is the Best Gem within Spectrum. I have seen him many times and our goal as we collaborate my care is to keep me healthy and "out of the OR". We are achieving my goal and my lifestyle is not being impacted. He sets realistic goals for me and when they can no longer be reached we together will know what the "next steps" will be. I love how he teaches me and helps me along the way in my care. HE IS THE BEST and I love how fluid he and his team works!

Dr Axtman really cares, he works with me and my busy schedule and he and Kari create a welcome space during the appointment. Even though Dr Axtman is busy when he is in the room is is focused on my issues and he has surrounded himself with a team that support to ensure the experience starts and ends well too. Xray tech also super helpful.
