This was my first visit to see an oncologist for myself but not my first experience at Winship.  My husband is 15 years in remission for Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  I walked away feeling like I was in great hands.  No one wants to ever go to a oncologist. You are scared and need someone to give you answers.  While my case isn't straight forward, I left knowing that Dr Lechowicz had a plan of action.  So yes, more tests are scary but I feel better for the knowledge and level of concern she showed to me in that first visit.  The staff that I interacted with were all great as well.  They see people struggling with their illnesses daily and yet each one from the information desk to the appt/scheduling check out were friendly and made me feel welcomed.
