Some of the therapy from Denise was helpful, and from a Christian perspective. But I felt she lacked intelligence, insight and understanding of mental health diagnoses. I realize she is not a psychiatrist, but she appeared arrogant to me in making assumptions about things she clearly did not understand and probably had little training in. In both my case, and a friend of mine's case, she was very abrupt in cancelling the therapy after she felt like it was going nowhere. In my case, she caused a very significant decline in the functioning of the relationship that I was seeking help from her for. So she seems nice, but, look out for these issues, or avoid her altogether.
