"I was referred to him from my insurance company. I seeked helped for reasons related to mental health as it related to career development.

I got an extremely negative first impression of him from my first session. Not even the negative workplaces of the past gave me anywhere near the negative first impresion that I got from Dr Verschell.

Basically, he talks down to me about my issues with negative workplaces. He expected me to remain in negative work situations that has caused harm to my mental health. He asked ZERO questions about how those experiences harmed my mental health. He was only interested in talking down to me asking "do you think you can change your employer's mindset?" as if I never thought about that before. Most therapist start off with showing some empathy, but he shown none, he just starts with talking down to me, as if I haven't been talking down to myself for decades. "

He acts as if me leaving negative workplaces was the root of the problem, whereas it's obvious to almost everyone else that it's just a symptom of a much larger problem.
