This was a terrible visit from start to finish. First, I was given incorrect information over the phone when scheduling an appointment for a knee problem. I was told that this provider was an "ankle, foot, and knee specialist," but the website only listed him as a foot and ankle specialist and included certifications related to that—not one thing about knees. While I'm sure all orthopedic specialists are more than familiar with knee anatomy, I was still looking for a knee specialist and was explicitly told he was one over the phone. The front desk staff were also unfriendly and borderline rude, which was another thing I didn't love about this office. The wait time was pretty long, too. I didn't see the doctor until nearly an hour after my appointment time, which wasn't great but (unfortunately) not outrageous for a doctor's office. When I finally saw the doctor, he had a terrible bedside manner from the second he barged through the door without knocking. He never once examined my knee (!), and he just stood across the room for the less than five minutes he was in there like he was wasting his time being in there. And he gave me incorrect information and an incorrect diagnosis based on complete speculation—again, he didn't examine my knee—and said the problem was probably my hamstring. After seeing another provider, I've learned that it is definitely not my hamstring. After all of this, I was just going to move on and find a new doctor (I never normally write reviews), BUT I just got billed for two X-rays that I never got!! I did not get a SINGLE X-ray at this office. I'm going to call tomorrow and I'm sure it will get figured out, but it's just an added hassle to an already disappointing experience.
