Dr Gentile, Steve and staff have been my children's pediatrician for well over a decade. The staff is always courteous, and the physicians, PAs and nurses genuinely care for our kids and take the time to answer any and all questions we have. Only downside is we have to find a new doctor after they reach age 18, which is common among pediatricians.
He's great if you have a healthy baby. My daughter was resistant to the first antibiotic he prescribed for an ear infection. When we came back for a return visit he berated me (the mom) for her not getting over the ear infection. The 2nd type of antibiotic worked, and we never went back. If he can't fix the issue he will blame the parents.
Avoid at ALL costs. I have never been treated so unprofessionally before. After calling to check the status of my daughters referral, the completely unknowledgeable staff put Dr. Gentile on the phone where he begin to berate and blame ME for his staff not being able to do their job! Their office fail to diagnose my daughter on the simplest of cases, regulating it to guesswork. DO NOT subject your child to this joke of a physician.
