Dr. Nelson is everything a surgeon should be! First, I went from unable to work or even function to better than ever before. He literally gave me my life back. Secondly, he is a wonderful person. Has a great bedside manner, very responsive, kind, caring and provides excellent explanations of my condition and the surgery I had to have. Being a spine surgeon is not easy dealing with insurance companies who want to deny care and he gives a lot of his time speaking with medical directors of plans to explain why surgery is the best option for many patients - including me. Thank you!!
